Getting started

Do I need to download anything?

No. TaLi works entirely inside WhatsApp or Telegram — the apps you already have. There's nothing to install or learn.

How do I sign up?

Register your phone number on the website and verify the code we send to your WhatsApp — or just tap Continue on Telegram to link in one step. Either way it takes about thirty seconds, then you start recording right in the chat.

What can I say to TaLi?

Anything about your trade in plain words — "Sold rice 5000", "Bought fuel 2k", "Added 20 bags of rice", or "What's my profit this month?". TaLi figures out the rest.

Plans & billing

Is the free plan really free?

Yes, forever. Starter covers up to 50 records a month with balances and summaries — no card needed to begin.

How do I pay for Pro or Business?

Pay monthly in Naira via the secure payment link TaLi sends you. Cancel any time — your data stays put. See the pricing page for details.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade whenever you like. Changes take effect from your next billing cycle.

Data & security

Is my financial data secure?

Your books are locked to your phone number and private to your account, with encryption in transit. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Does TaLi read my other chats?

No. TaLi only sees the messages you send directly to it — never your other WhatsApp or Telegram conversations.

Can I export or delete my data?

Business plans can export and back up records. You can request deletion any time by messaging "delete my account".

Features

Can I use more than one currency?

Yes — on Pro and Business, TaLi tracks ₦, $, £ and others separately so your totals never get mixed up.

Does it track inventory?

On Pro and above. Say "Added 20 bags of rice" or "Sold 3 bags" and stock updates automatically, with low-stock alerts.

Can staff share one account?

Business plans support up to 5 staff on shared books — handy for shops with more than one till.
